Supplementary provisions for refunding payments to dropouts

  1. Tuition fee
  2. If the student pays the tuition fee for one year and leaves the school within 6 months, the tuition fee of the 6 months will be consumed and the remaining amount will be reimbursed, discounting the administrative fee. The administrative fee is set at 10% or 20% of the remaining amount after deducting 6 months.

    • 10% of the remaining amount after deducting the administrative fee for 6 months: If the student has requested to finish the course within 6 months (or earlier) at the time of application and has agreed with the school before enrollment. Or, if the student did not request in advance, but has been admitted to a higher school or company in Japan earlier than planned, and it can be proved.
    • 20% of the remaining amount after deducting the administrative fee for 6 months: If the student did not request to finish within 6 months (or earlier) at the time of application, and the reason for withdrawal is not going on to school or getting employed in Japan. Or if it is not possible to prove the admission or employment.
  3. School made materials fee / Field trip fee / Web administration fee
  4. If the student drops out within 6 months, 6 months will be consumed and the remaining 6 months will be refunded.

  5. Textbooks fee (for a year) / Medical check-up fee
  6. The fee of Non-used textbooks and the medical check-up the student didn’t take, will be refunded.

  7. Housing expenses (Dormitory fees)
  8. The first 3 months will not be returned. In addition, it will be borne by the student until the month following the date the student leaves school.
  9. Refund time
  10. If the student returns to his/her country of origin, it will be refunded after confirming the departure with the copy of the residence card. If the student continues in Japan, it will be refunded after confirming the change of residence status or the admission to school or university.

  11. Refund method
  12. Bank transfer. The transfer destination shall be the designated account in the name of the financial supporter or the student himself / herself, and the transfer fee shall be borne by the recipient.

  13. Verification
  14. When withdrawing from school and after the refund payment is done, confirm with the financial supporter and guarantor in advance about it.
